Auckland Short Courses

We offer a variety of scheduled day, evening and weekend short courses throughout the year. They are practical, relevant and affordable; and designed to develop new skills for personal or professional development. Graphic Design

 Bring together text and images using your creativity, for print and digital media by learning how to use software such as InDesign, Photoshop, or Illustrator; or even how to better use your digital camera!

Web Design

 Learn web programming, design and usability skills with Flash, ActionScript, Dreamweaver or Javascript software; and programming languages XHTML/HTML/CSS or PHP/MySQL.

Animation

Capture the essence of movement and bring a character to life!  Learn how to edit, create and manipulate your images; or produce a 3D animation using Maya, Lightwave, After Effects, Flash or Actionscript.

Digital Film Making

Develop your movie making skills by learning how to shoot, capture and edit digital video including voiceovers and soundtracks; using software such as Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and Shake.

Social Media

Become familiar with social networking whether it is to keep track of your friends and relatives around the world, to publish your own videos and photos online or as a marketing tool for your buisness. Learn how to make the most out of free online networking tools such as Facebook, Twitter and youtube and find out what will work best for you.
